BJF Micro-Grant Application
The Bern & Jack Foundation envisions a world where women and children receive a holistic approach to healing. Established in 2021, Bern & Jack Foundation (BJF) is a Texas-based 501c3 nonprofit organization. It is to serve as a coalition of organizations, groups, and individuals who strive to promote holistic healing for women and children impacted by domestic violence and sexual abuse.
The mission of the Bern & Jack Foundation is to Inspire, Empower, Influence, and help women and children transcend the long-term effects of domestic violence and sexual abuse. BJF endures to cultivate conditions that prevent and eliminate domestic violence and sexual abuse by educating its members and community partners. BJF intends to advocate as a strong, unified voice for victims, survivors, and affected children of domestic violence by teaming with various domestic violence programs and victim support service providers.
BJF understands that for mothers, raising children is a great joy and a bountiful challenge. One way BJF wishes to fulfill its mission is through the Bern & Jack Foundation Micro-Grant for single mothers between the ages of 17 and 35. The goal is to encourage single mothers that while challenges may arise, they do not last forever. In this effort, BJF wishes to provide a micro-grant to single mothers to assist with the household or as a treat for the mother.
